What is the Standard?

Standard Review Panel

Meeting of the Safer Gambling Standard Review Panel

An expert panel reviews the Safer Gambling Standard on an annual basis to incorporate changes in regulatory requirements and good practice guidelines, the opinions of GamCare service users, and new insights from academic research.

The panel consists of independent experts in the field of safer gambling and does not include a representative of the gambling industry.

GamCare service users

GamCare service users are at the heart of everything we do. We canvas the opinions of our service users through surveys, panels and anecdotal feedback and these opinions flow through to the Standard each year.

Tell our panel what you think about the current Standard and how businesses can ensure a safer gambling environment for all.

Tell us what you think
Everyone who experiences problems with their gambling is someone who once thought their gambling was not a problem. That is why it is so important that GamCare’s treatment services inform the products, policies and procedures of a gambling business and mitigate the risk of future harm.
