How to apply
Using the Standard badge
Accredited businesses can display a Safer Gambling Standard badge on their websites, apps and in-venue to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility and safer gambling.
Safer Gambling Standard badge
Print and digital friendly formats of the badge are provided to businesses when they are awarded the Standard. We ask that accredited businesses provide a named person at their organisation who will be responsible for correct usage of the badge.
Guidelines on using the badge
Using the badge online: We recommend that accredited businesses use the badge in their website footer as well as within their safer or responsible gambling webpages, ensuring that all text within the logo is visible to the customer. Wherever the badge is used, it must be hyperlinked to our accredited business listings page: www.safergamblingstandard.org.uk/accredited-businesses.
Using the badge in print: We recommend that accredited businesses use the badge within print media where relevant, ensuring that all text within the logo is visible to the customer.
Businesses should always use the ‘Find us on Safer Gambling Standard’ badge and not the main ‘Safer Gambling Standard’ logo. This is to ensure that people always visit this website to verify the accreditation status of a business.
GamCare will engage with businesses who are found to be misusing the Safer Gambling Standard badge or who are found to be misleading people about their accreditation status.
GamCare National Gambling Helpline logo
GamCare also offer a National Gambling Helpline logo for use by gambling businesses or other organisations offering gambling activities like raffles. Organisations can use this logo to direct their customers to support if needed. Please note – the National Gambling Helpline logo is separate to the Safer Gambling Standard badge, above, which is only available to accredited businesses.
